CUMC's Summer Concert Series Feat. Susan Pepper

Susan Pepper performs unaccompanied ballads in the old traditional style that has been passed down for hundreds of years in the Appalachians and grew out of song traditions from Ireland, Scotland and England. With a Master's Degree in Appalachian Studies, Pepper researches, teaches and performs Appalachian ballads and old time music  In this concert, Susan will share some of her favorite traditional ballads and folk songs that she recently recorded for a forthcoming album.
